Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Planet B:

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (hashed)
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Course activity: Lesson progress, completion status, and journal entries. Your journal entries are strictly private — they are visible only to you and the Planet B Oracle AI advisor (to provide personalised guidance). No other user, administrator, or third party can access your journal entries.
• Community content: Posts and replies you create in the Planet B Community
• Oracle conversations: The Planet B Oracle AI advisor retains conversation memory solely to provide you with a personalised mentoring experience. We do not collect, review, or access your Oracle conversations. This memory belongs exclusively to the Oracle and is used only to serve you. No administrator, staff member, or third party can read your Oracle conversations. You can clear your Oracle memory at any time from your account settings.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Course delivery: Tracking your progress, unlocking content, and providing personalised learning experiences
• AI advisor: Oracle conversations and memories are used to provide contextual, personalised guidance within the platform
• Communication: Sending enrolment confirmations, payment receipts, and important service updates
• Service improvement: Aggregated and anonymised usage data may be used to improve the platform

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored using Turso (distributed SQLite database) and hosted on Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery (enrolment confirmations, payment receipts, service notifications).
• Anthropic — AI model provider for the Planet B Oracle advisor. Conversation data is processed in accordance with Anthropic’s usage policies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and course progress are retained for as long as your account is active. Journal entries and community posts are retained unless you request deletion. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and request a copy
• Export your journal entries and course progress
• Delete your account and associated data
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances

7. Cookies

We use minimal, session-based cookies required for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
